Over the next four years, Liip and Aspectra will work with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) on the development, maintenance and running of its internet and intranet platforms.

Open Source

The aim of the project is to develop an open-source content management system using Apache, MySQL and PHP software. We will use the latest web technologies to continuously maintain and develop the system. Liip will work to make sure that the high availability of this mission-critical platform is not compromised at any point during the process.

The involvement of a multidisciplinary team ensures optimised project outcomes. Its wide spectrum of highly specialised skills equips the project team to adapt the project to the customer’s changing needs without negatively impacting on the quality of its service provision. In addition to its expertise in the development of complex PHP web applications, Liip is proficient in the use of agile methods like scrum and associated engineering practices. This approach allows Liip to work as flexibly and as cost-effectively as possible.
