Polybau leads with AI search
The new chatbot PolyBot is now live on the Polybau website. It answers questions from basic training to advanced continuing education. Built for our long-time Drupal client Gebäudehülle Schweiz, PolyBot is much more than a chatbot. From concept to launch: a chatbot with a mission
Our mission was clear: make it easier for people to find relevant information. Rather than simply placing a chatbot alongside the existing search, we took a different approach. We made the chatbot the main entry point for finding information. The classic search function remains accessible on the homepage, via the startpage and the navigation. It now plays a supporting role while the chatbot takes the lead.
Users are already adapting
One week after launch, usage data reveals that nearly half of all queries are phrased as full questions, an ideal match for conversational AI. The simple prompt to "Ask PolyBot" seems to be enough to encourage natural, question-based input, reflecting growing familiarity with AI tools. This confirms that users are ready for this new form of interaction.
Real-time insights, full autonomy for the client
Polybau has full access to the chatbot backend. This transparency allows them to track user questions, review response effectiveness, and identify content gaps.
