In November 2017, Focus-Business distinguished the top employers of the DACH region. To determine the ranking of the 1,300 companies, Focus has worked closely with kununu.com, the employer evaluation platform and Media Market Insights as a research company. The ranking is based on approximately 13,000 data sets with more than 324,000 employer evaluations. After companies had fulfilled the regional criteria, they had to gain a rating above 4.12 on kununu.com aswell to reach the final selection. The final placement was awarded by a score value that is composed of the average rating, the number of ratings on Kununu and the number of employees. LIIP is the fifth best medium-sized employer with a score of 92.5 and is awarded second place in the Internet sector.
Commitment to self-determination
In October 2017, the company won the Prix Balance and now it is one of 5 in the Top Medium-sized Employer 2018 makes LIIP proud. "To receive such international recognition verifies us with the quality of our working conditions," says Gerhard Andrey partner and co-founder. At LIIP employees follow the Holacracy principle: there are no traditional hierarchies, but a sociocratic decentralised form of authority instead. "This shortens the decision-making process and prevents the creation of networks for the mutual furthering of careers," explains Gerhard Andrey. LIIP invests in its employees and they’re giving back a lot. The focus is on the atmosphere, the joint advancement of ideas and the implementation of projects. There are no external co-owners, therefore Almost half of LIIP's shareholders are employees. "We are financially independent," says Gerhard Andrey.
