Thanks to a hint by Bertrand on my yesterdays post, I now got “cheap” GPRS again by Sunrise. They have an offer called “Sunrise Relax”, which offers the MB for 3.50, no matter how much

you download… With my old “Sunrise 15” plan, I would only got that price after 5 MB. It comes with no free minutes (I had 15 free minutes before), but the per-minute fee is cheaper during day-time than with my old plan, so if I'd talk exactly 15 minutes in a month and wouldn't use any GPRS, that would cost me 6.- more than before. But as soon as

I start downloading more than 350 kB in a month, I start saving compared to the old plan. On my last months bill, I would have saved approx. 15.- (half an hour talking, 1.5MB downloading, you see, I'm not a hard core mobile phone user ;) )

I'm usually not that much of a “rappenspalter”, I don't care much if i pay some francs more or less each month. That's maybe also the reason, why I never changed my telco or my price plan, but if they silently (maybe they did announce it somewhere, not that I would read all their “spam” I get each month) raise the fees for long-time customers I

start to get a little bit angry. While not knowing the actual figures, but I assume GPRS isn't there main income nowadays anyway and most people don't care ;) But the 3.50 are a real bargain, no-one else is offering that for such low volumes.
