Hrhr, I knew it. My blog post about Desperate Housewives

(the TV series…) will produce a lot of hits. I had until now 3100

hits alone on this post this month. I lost the stats for december due

to an ā€œaccidentā€, so can't tell you more about that month. It's also

the most used search string coming from search engines (1100 times

compared to 66 for the next one ā€œping pongā€ …). No wonder, when we're on 7th place on google. But I doubt somehow they are all looking for info about the series ;)

We're also on place 49 on the 100 Most Popular Gravatar Enabled URLs list.

What do we learn from this: Choose the right topic, make your page

nicely indexable for search engines (like putting the post title in

/html/head and in the URL and using html header tags in the appropriate

places) and you will get a lot of hits (I doubt they are very valuable

hits, since ā€œtheyā€ are most certainly looking for something else, but

on the other hand, I also got some decent and long comments on that

topic)
