The PHP Extension domxml got not only a lot of memory leak fixes lately, we're (mainly Rob Richards with the help of Marcus Bƶrger and little bit of me) currently rewriting the whole extension to comply to the W3C DOM Standard and to come up with a nicer memory management system. It will most
certainly not be backwards compatible to the current extension and therefore maybe even get a new name. Watch the php-xml-dev@lists.php.net mailinglist, if you're interested in the whole story. How to subscribe is mentioned here.
