Tobias Schultze will start by giving a short theoretical introduction to concurrency control in databases. Databases provide several means to ensure that correct results for concurrent operations are generated but at the end it's the developers task to use them correctly and efficiently. The second part of the presentation will show real-world implementation examples using DoctrineĀ and common pitfalls.
