Linked Data gets out of academics and finds its way into the private sector. In a ridiculously short time, Michael Luggen will introduce the basics of Linked Data, the concept, RDF formats (RDFa, JSON-LD, Turtle, RDF-XML), triple-stores, deferenceability, content-negotiation and much more. And then (yes there is even more!) we will have a focused glimpse at how to consume linked data in PHP, Python, JavaScript (using something called Uduvudu). This talk is tailored to web-savvy developers used to work with relational databases. So get your earth wires ready.
