On 30 January 2013 some 350 invited guests from the worlds of business and politics gathered at the Umwelt Arena to discover who had won this year's Cantonal Bank of Zurich (ZKB) Sustainability Award. â¨We are delighted and honoured to announce that Liip was runner-up. In explaining its decision, the jury singled out our innovative capacity, family-compatible working conditions, the training opportunities we offer our employees, as well as our flat hierarchy and systematic adherence to the agile project management approach. We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate our fellow winners, Fröhlich Info AG and South Pole, as well as the winners of the special award, Keller Recycling AG and Sommerholz Werkstatt.
What all of the winners have in common - besides their sound business sense - are their staunch social and environmental credentials. They are living proof not only that profitability and corporate social responsibility are not mutually exclusive, but also that a strong value base is the cornerstone of business success in today's world.
