She also believes that local businesses will also reap the benefits of Liip's expertise and agile approach.
Community engagement is another important factor for success. Pascal Helfenstein, a Liip developer from Wil, not far from St. Gallen, launched Webnesday, a regular exchange of information on the latest news and advances in mobile and web development. The Liiper is resolutely upbeat about the future: āThere are already loads of start-ups here, not to mention well-established technology and design firms. St. Gallen therefore has the potential to become Switzerland's Silicon Valley.ā
